WELCOME!

The program you are about to experience is designed to improve the quality and quantity of your support for healthy lifestyle change. For over 30 years, we at the Human Resources Institute have trained thousands of people in the art and science of building cultural support for healthy lifestyle choices. We are confident that the skills taught in this Wellness Mentor Training will have a dramatic and positive impact on your ability to assist coworkers, friends and family members in their efforts to live longer, happier and more productive lives.

How the Training Works
Through a combination of course reading, streaming video and mentoring assignments, you'll gain a deeper understanding of social support as it applies to lifestyle change. You will practice your new skills immediately. During the training, you will assist another person in making a lifestyle change.

This is a self-paced course. Return to this website as often as you would like. The Training Agenda on the left is linked to each of the learning units. When returning to the course, click on the agenda item on which you would like to work. There are also links to previous and following pages at the top and bottom of each page.

As you complete course work, you will be asked to email progress reports. We'll send you any feedback we think might be helpful.
